Research Paper Writing - What is the Best Method?
Research Paper Writing - What is the Best Method?Writing a good research paper does not mean that you have to stick to the latest buzzwords and buzz-word lists. Good research paper is all about contributing something new to the existing knowledge base. Writing a good research paper is all about trying to come up with ideas that make the rest of the published literature to look old-fashioned.One of the biggest challenges when writing research papers is coming up with fresh and original ideas. In my experience, nothing helps your research paper writing more than ideas that come from the 'inside'.Research papers are the basis for many graduate programs these days. A graduate program is basically an extension of your undergraduate studies and as such relies on the paper you put together for your undergraduate studies.Remember, the undergraduate courses you studied were very limited in their scope. As such, it is imperative that you write a good research paper that contains some interesti ng ideas that help you advance your undergraduate knowledge base. There are several ways to come up with research papers that advance your undergraduate research. One way is to spend time doing research on a particular subject. If you are quite knowledgeable about a particular subject, all you need to do is to conduct research and come up with useful information.Another method is to make use of abstract analysis. Abstract analysis basically refers to a process in which one uses the individual chapters of a book to come up with an abstract of the entire book. So how do you use the chapter headings to come up with an idea for a research paper?Firstly, you need to break the book into chapters or sections and then identify the areas where you think a project should be initiated. The idea here is to come up with a project outline. Once you have a project outline, you can then implement the projects in groups of two or three. For instance, if you are interested in a particular topic, you ca n start a project in one group and move it into another group at the same time. You can also break your topic into sub-topics and make use of the chapter headings to come up with ideas. For instance, if you are going to do a study on the popularity of different animal breeds, you can break it down into the different breeds, statistics and their sources.
